Death Threat: Ducsu VP files GD seeking security

Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (Ducsu) Vice-President (VP) Nurul Haque Nur on Wednesday (June 17) filed a general diary (GD) with Shahbagh police station.

In the GD, he mentioned that he received a death threat through text messages.

Confirming the matter, Shahbagh police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abul Hasan told risingbd that an investigation officer (IO) was assigned to probe the issue. After investigation, the IO will take necessary steps.

According to the GD, Nur claimed that he was fearful for his life and sought security from the law enforcement agency. On Tuesday, some unidentified persons sent texts in his mobile phone giving death threats.
