GM Quader demands virtual education in primary

Deputy opposition leader in the Parliament GM Quader has said that virtual education has been introduced at university level. This education system should be introduced up to primary level. This will put us ahead in the field of virtual education.

He said this while speaking on the national proposed budget for FS2020-2021 in the Parliament session on Monday.

GM Quader said, ‘Creating employment is the need of time as poverty and unemployment is on the rise. There is not much direction in the budget to resolve this problem. The continuousness that was maintained in the budget of previous years, was not maintained this year. There has been mentioned over bulk allocation in different cases. However, a monitoring team should be given the responsibility to determine the appropriateness of this bulk allocation.’

He further said, ‘Implementing the budget is a huge challenge amid the volatile situation caused by coronavirus. So it would be better to review the budget after six months. The scope of whitening black money will encourage corruption and damage the anti-graft drive. Black money was whitened in the last years, but the revenue income was not very high. The wheel of the country's economy must be kept moving by tackling coronavirus outbreak. Besides, the health sector has to be modernized. There are allegations of taking extra electricity and water bills. These bills need to be reviewed.
