ACC launches enquiry against Shahed

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has launched an investigation into the allegations of fraudulence with people in name of microcredit and MLM business, tax evasion, issuance of fake Covid-19 results against owner of Regent Hospital and chairman of Regent Group Md Shahed alias Shahed Karim.
“The decision to start an enquiry against Shahed has been taken on Monday (July 13),” confirmed ACC's Public Relations Officer (PRO) Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya.
A three-member committee has been formed to investigate the allegations brought against Shahed with ACC’s Deputy Director Md Abu Bakar Siddique as the head of the committee.
The other members of the committee are Md Neyamul Hasan Gazi and Sheikh Md Golam Mawla.
