Assistant director of Shahabuddin Medical held

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Sunday held Dr Mohammad Abul Hasnat, assistant director of Shahabuddin Medical College and Hospital in the capital’s Gulshan over fraudulence of coronavirus test.

RAB Executive Magistrate Sarwar Alam confirmed the news to risingbd on Sunday night.

He said, ‘He was held for his alleged involvement in cheating over coronavirus and anti-body test.’

RAB was conducting a drive in the hospital till the report was filed at 8:00pm on Sunday.

It was learnt that the hospital authority has been testing sample of coronavirus through reserving approval from the Health Ministry. But they were providing fake corona certificate without test and embezzling a huge amount of money.

Earlier, drives were conducted at Uttara and Mirpur branch of Regent Hospital and JKG Health Care. Besides, Law enforcement agencies have been conducting drives at different districts including the capital.
