Six Eid Jamaats to be held in Baitul Mukarram

Eid Jamaats will not be arranged at National Eidgah this year to avoid coronavirus infection. A total of six Eid congregations will be held at the National Baitul Mukarram Mosque.

A press release issued by the Islamic Foundation confirmed the matter on Tuesday (July 21) night.

The six Eid jamaats will be held one after another on the occasion, according to the notification.

The 1st Jamaat will be held at 7:00am to be conducted by Senior Pesh Imam Mufti Maulana M Mizanur Rahaman. The 2nd Eid Jamaat will be held at 7:50am led by Pesh Imam Hafez Mufti Muhibullahil Baki Nadvi. The 3rd one will be held at 8:45am.

Maulana Mahiuddin Kashem will conduct the 4th Jamaat which is to be held at 9:35am while the 5th Jamaat, conducted by Muhaddis of Islamic Foundation Hafez Maulana Waliur Rahman Khan, will be held at 10:30am.

The 6th and last Jamaat will be held at 11:10am.
