Cattle-loaded trawler capsizes in Jamuna

A trawler carrying 50 cattle capsized in Jamuna River in Shivalaya of Manikganj on Friday (July 24).
The incident took place around 9:00am. Rescuers of fire service are still conducting operation.
Shivalaya police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Firoz Kabir said, the trawler carrying cattle and cattle traders from Pabna’s Nagarbari capsized in Aricha Ghat area. Meanwhile, only 7-8 cattle were rescued.
