BSMMU sues Aparajita’s Sharmin for supplying ‘fake’ masks

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) has filed a case against Aparajita Trade International’s owner Sharmin Jahan for supplying ‘fake’ masks.

BSMMU Proctor Syed Mozaffor Ahmed filed the case with Shahbag Police Station on Thursday.

Abul Hasan, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of the police station confirmed the news on Friday.

It was learnt that Sharmin Jahan served as the president of Chhatra League’s Kuwait Maitree Hall unit of Dhaka University.

She was also a member of the Awami League’s central sub-committee on women and children affairs.
