A Dhaka court placed Aparajita Trade International’s owner Sharmin Jahan on a three-day remand in a case for supplying ‘fake’ masks.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Moinul Islam passed the order after Inspector Shah Akhtaruzzaman Ilias of DB's south unit Ramna Zone team, also the investigation officer of the case, produced Sharmin Jahan before the court with three-day remand prayer on Saturday (July 25).
On July 23, the authority of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) filed the case against Sharmin Jahan for allegedly supplying ‘fake’ masks.
Detective Branch of Police (DB) arrested Aparajita Trade International’s owner Sharmin Jahan from a residence at Shahbagh in the capital on the night of Friday (July 24).
