Men held with 5kg gold at Dhaka airport

Customs Intelligence officials held a passenger along with 5.2 kg gold worth Tk 3.12 crore at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Saturday noon.

The man was identified as Ismail Hossain Sarkar who came in from Jeddah of Saudi Arabia. The gold was hidden in a special way inside his bag.

Dhaka Customs Deputy High Commissioner Mohammad Marufur Rahman confirmed this to risingbd.
