ACC sues Habiganj Sheikh Hasina Medical College principal

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has brought charges of irregularities involving Tk3.5 crore against principal of Habiganj Sheikh Hasina Medical College Hospital and two contactors.
Two separate case were filed with coordinator district office of ACC in Habiganj on Sunday (August 16).
ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed the matter to risingbd.
Tk1,293,3012 were embezzled using misuse of power, according to the case statement. Sahidur Rahman, deputy assistant director of ACC headquarters filed the case.
Another case was filed against principal Dr Md Abu Sufian and Punom Trade International’s owner SM Nazrul Islam. Deputy assistant director Ferdous Rahman filed that case.
