Rayhan Kabir returning home from Malaysia tonight

Bangladesh national Rayhan Kabir who was arrested in Malaysia because of featuring in an Al Jazeera documentary about police raids on migrants amid coronavirus pandemic is set to arrive in Dhaka tonight (Friday night).
Quoting Malaysia's Immigration Department Director General Datuk Khairul Dzaimee Daud, New Straits Times on Friday said Md Rayhan Kabir would be sent home from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) tonight.
He said, “Deportation team will take him to the KLIA at 9:00pm (local time).
Rayhan's work permit was revoked on July 8 and he was detained on July 24.
He was among those featured in the Al Jazeera report, “Locked Up in Malaysia's Lockdown”, which was aired on July 3.
The documentary said that authorities had treated migrants poorly during the movement control order period to contain the spread of Covid-19.
