Rain may continue for 2 more days

The country is experiencing light to moderate rainfall and it may continue until Wednesday as a well-marked low is staying over the Northwest Bay.

However, the weather condition may change after five days as the axis of monsoon trough runs through Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, centre of the low thence northeastwards to Assam across central part of Bangladesh.

In a weather bulletin on Monday (October 5), the met office said, Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay.

Light to moderate rain/thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Chattogram & Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Dhaka, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh, Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country.
