Delwar Hossain Sayeedi produced before court

War crimes convict and Jamaat leader Delwar Hossain Sayeedi has been produced before a Dhaka court in a case filed for evading income tax.

He was produced before the court of Judge Mohammad Nazrul Islam of the temporary Dhaka Special Judge's Court-3, set up at the Alia Madrasa ground in Bakshibazar of Old Dhaka, after 9:30 am on Wednesday (January 6).

Delwar Hossain Sayeedi has been sentenced unto death for crimes committed during the country's 1971 war of liberation.

The charge framing hearing will be held today. Delwar Hossain Sayeedi is the only accused in the income tax evasion case.
