Name of Information Ministry changed

The government has changed the name of the information ministry. From now the ministry will be called the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

The Cabinet Division issued a circular in this regard on Monday (March 15). The circular has also been published as a gazette simultaneously.

The President has brought this change in name of the Ministry of Information by amending the Rules of Business, 1996 as per the powers given in Article 55 (6) of the Constitution of Bangladesh.
