Asaduzzaman made CTTC chief

Deputy Inspector General of Police Md Asaduzzaman has been chief of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).

The appointment was made in a circular issued by the order of the President on Monday (April 12).

The circular signed by Home Ministry Deputy Secretary Dhananjay Kumar Das said that Asaduzzaman was appointed to the post due to the public interest.

Earlier, Asaduzzaman was working in the Special Branch (SB) of the police. He has been performing his professional duties in the police force for a long time with honesty, dedication and courage. He also served as the Additional Commissioner of Police for DMP.
