Budget 2021-2022: Corporate tax of bKash and Nagad increased

The corporate tax of bKash, Nagad, and all other mobile financial services (MFS) or mobile banking companies has been increased in the proposed budget 2021-2022.
Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal made the announcement while addressing budget session 2021-2022 in the parliament on Thursday (June 3).
Finance Minister said, we have proposed to increase the corporate tax of MFS companies from 32.5 percent to 37 percent.
In case of one-person company, the corporate tax has been reduced to 25 percent from 32.5 percent, he said.
Earlier, the budget session began at 3:03 pm with Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.
