Man found dead at city residential hotel

A man was found dead at a residential hotel in the capital’s North Kamalapur area early Wednesday (June 09).

The deceased was identified as Torun Kanti Sen, 51, son of Amesh Chandra Sen from Kotwali thana area of Chattogram.

Motijheel police recovered the body of Torun Kanti Sen from Al Faruk residential hotel around 4:00 am.

Sub-inspector (SI) of Motijheel Police Station Sobuj Ali confirmed the news.

On information, police rushed to the hotel and recovered his body. The body was later sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy following a legal process, the police official said.

The reason behind his death could not be known immediately, he added.
