Amir Hamza gives confessional statement in another case

Islamic preacher Mufti Amir Hamza has given confessional statement in another case filed against him.

On Monday (June 21), he was produced before a Dhaka court after his remand ended in a case filed against him under anti-terrorism act with Darus Salam Police Station.

Counter Terrorism unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police filed a petition to record his statement as he agreed to give confessional statement.

Later, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Jasim Uddin recored his statement and sent him to jail.

General register officer concerned to Darus Salam Police Station Md Makbul Hossain confirmed the matter.

Amir Hamza was arrested from Kushtia on May 24 afternoon.
