Ex-major Sinha murder case: Fugitive ASI surrenders

Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Sagor Deb, one of the fugitive accused in Major (retd) Sinha Md Rashed Khan murder case, surrendered to a court in Cox’s Bazar on Thursday (June 24).
The accused surrendered before the court of Cox’s Bazar district and session judge court Mohammad Ismail after 10 months of absconding.
Public Prosecutor (PP) Advocate Faridul Alam Chowdhury confirmed the matter.
He said, after the killing of Major Sinha, ASI Sagor Deb went into hiding. Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel could not find any trace of him.
