Bangladesh logs 241 more Covid deaths, 13817 new cases

Bangladesh logged 241 deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, climbing the national toll to 21,638 across the country so far.

Besides, 13,817 new cases were reported during the same period. With this, the total number of infections stood at 13,09,910 in the country.

A press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the development on Wednesday (August 4).

Alongside, as many as 16,112 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 11, 41,157 the release said.
