Over one lakh people join Babunagri’s namaz-e-janaza

Over one lakh people joined the namaz-e-janaza of Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh Chief Junayed Babunagari held at 11.00 pm Thursday at Hathazari madrasa.

His uncle Mohibullah Babunagari led the namaz-e-janaza.

He was buried beside the grave of Allama Shafi at Hathazari madrasa.

Junayed Babunagari breathed his last at CSCR Hospital in Chattogram while undergoing treatment around 12:30pm on Thursday (August 19).

He was 67.

Babunagari fell seriously sick on Wednesday evening. He was taken to the hospital around 11.00am on Thursday after his physical condition deteriorated.

He had been suffering from various old-age complications including diabetics for long.
