Evaly shuts website, apps

Controversial e-commerce platform Evaly has shutdown of its website and mobile apps temporarily.
The authority of the e-commerce platform posted a status in this regard in its verified Fecebook page on Saturday (October 16).
Evaly said, “In the present situation, all our employees are passing their days in fear as anonymous. Our banking activities are temporarily shut as our honorable CEO and Chairman are in jail. In this situation, there is an uncertainty in our servers, office costs and employees. It’s possible to overcome the complexity if we got four month-time.”
Earlier, Evaly declared shutdown of its Dhanmondi office following the arrest of Managing Director Mohammad Rassel.
Since its inception in 2018, Evaly has faced a debt of Tk 5.43 billion to its suppliers and customers.
