Shahriar Alam cancels Pakistan visit

Bangladesh’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam cancelled his visit to Pakistan to join a special session of OIC on the situation in Afghanistan which was scheduled to begin on December 18 and 19.

Foreign Ministry in a statement on Saturday in confirmed the matter. However, foreign secretary Masud Bin Momen has join the meeting.

Sources said, the state minister came in contact with a Covid-19 infected person. He is maintaining quarantine. That’s why his cancelled the Pakistan tour at the last moment.
