Qatar Airways crew remanded

A Dhaka court has placed Qatar Airways crew Tajul Islam, who was arrested with 6.5 kg gold at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital, on a two remand in a case filed in this connection.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Shahidul Islam passed the order after hearing on Friday (March 25).

Earlier, Airport Police produced him before the court and sought a 10-day remand.

Dhaka Customs Preventive Team arrested him with 6.5 kg gold on Thursday.
