Qurbani Eid: DSCC opens control room to monitor waste disposal

The Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) has set up a central control room to monitor the removal of sacrificial animal waste.

The central control room has been set up at the Shitalakhya Hall of Nagar Bhaban to supervise the waste removal activities.

DSCC spokesman Abu Naser confirmed the matter on Saturday (July 9).

People living in the DSCC area are requested to contact the control room through the number 01709900888 and 022223386014. The system has been launched to remove the waste as soon as possible following the complaints of city dwellers.

The DSCC has also formed 10 teams to monitor removal of sacrificial animal waste. These teams will supervise waste removal activities at 75 wards from 2:00pm on the Eid day until July 12.
