Holy Eid-ul-Azha being celebrated

Eid-ul-Azha, the second biggest religious festival of the Muslims, is being celebrated across the country today (July 10) with due solemnity and religious fervour.

Thousands of devotees have attended the Eid prayer service at the National Eidgah premises amid renewed pandemic restrictions. The main prayer service for the congregation was held at 8 am.

People of all ages, from children to the elderly, joined the Eid Jamaat. It was also attended by people of all backgrounds and professions, including members of the Cabinet, members of parliament, politicians, diplomats, lawyers and journalists.

After the prayer, the attendees prayed for peace, progress and prosperity of the country as well as the welfare of the Muslim Ummah.
