Case filed against cricketer Al-Amin

Bangladesh national team cricketer Al-Amin Hossain’s wife, Ishrat Jahan filed a case against him at Mirpur Model Thana.

After the primary scrutiny police recorded the complaint on Friday (September 2).

Mostafizur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of the police station said, allegations of dowry and abuse was made against the national team cricketer by his wife via a written complaint. The complaint turned into a case. Legal steps will be taken after investigation.

It was known that the law enforcers would arrest the cricketer anytime for quizzing.

In the written statement, Ishrat said that she had been tortured physically by Al-Amin. She was forced to leave her house by him. On August 25, Al Amin assaulted her and demanded dowry.
