Narayanganj’s convicted accused Zakir Khan remanded

A Dhaka court has placed Zakir Khan, top terrorist and former president of Narayanganj Chhatra Dal who had run away abroad for two decades, on one-day remand.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Nivana Khair Jesi passed the order on Sunday (September 4).
Earlier, Investigating Officer (IO) of the case, Sub-Inspector of Bhatara Police Station filed a petition seeking a three-day remand for Zakir Khan.
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-11 arrested Zakir Khan with foreign made pistol from the capital’s Bashundhara area on Friday night.
Captain of RAB-11 Lt Col Tanvir Mahmud Pasha (PSC) said this in a press briefing on Saturday said, “Many law suits including four murder cases were filed against Zakir Khan. He served jail in the cases for different times.
