‘No first, second Covid doses after October’

Vaccine doses may be available in the country from September 28 to October 3. First and second doses of COVID vaccine may not be available in the country after October 3 as the vaccine date will expire.

Health Minister Zahid Maleque hinted this at a national advocacy workshop on COVID-19 vaccination for children at Hotel Radisson in the capital on Saturday.

The minister urged the people, who did not receive vaccine, to take the vaccine within September 28-October 3.

The COVID vaccination campaign for the children aged 5-11 under district and upazila levels will start from October 11, he also said.
