New IGP adorned with rank badge

The newly appointed Inspector General of Bangladesh Police (IGP) Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun has been adorned with rank badge in the presence of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal completed the formalities at the Ganobhaban, official residence of the Prime Minister on Wednesday (October 12).

Police Headquarters AIG (Media and PR) Md. Manzur Rahman confirmed the matter.

Earlier on 22 September, the government appointed Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun as the new IGP.
