Attack on Justice Manik, 4 arrested

Police have arrested four persons in connection with an attack on Justice (retired) AHM Shamsuddin Chowdhury Manik.

The arrestees are JCD leaders Maksudur Rahman Sumit and Md Shakawat Hossain Khan and activists Md Rabin Khan and Md Sagar.

Officer-in-Charge of Paltan Thana Salauddin Mia said this on Thursday.

Justice Manik’s car came under attack at about 4:15pm on Wednesday in the capital’s Paltan area.

Following the incident, a case was filed by the Justice's gunman constable Rafiqul Islam on Wednesday night.
