Fardin murder: Court orders IO to submit probe report Dec 12

A Dhaka court directed the investigation officer (IO) to submit the probe report in BUET student Fardin Noor Parash murder case on December 12.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mehedi Hasan passed the order on Thursday (November 10).

Earlier, the court placed Amatullah Bushra, who was arrested, in the case, on a five- day remand.

Bushra, a friend of Fardin and student of East West University, was arrested from her Rampura residence on Wednesday night.

The victim’s father Nur Uddin Rana filed the case with Rampura Thana against some people including Bushra.

Fardin was a third-year student of civil engineering of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). On 4 November, he left home and did not return.
