People want elections under caretaker govt: Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said People will not accept voting at night anymore. They want elections under a non-partisan, impartial caretaker government.
The BNP leader made the opinion while addressing a mass rally at Komarpur Abdul Aziz Institution in Faridpur on Saturday afternoon (November 12).
Fakhrul said, "For the last three days in Faridpur, our workers from all the surrounding districts participated in the rally with inhuman effort, it is a big fight against the government."
He also said, the people have come down to the fields due to the price hike of food. The people will now fight for food, for medical treatment, for clothes. We want the resignation of Sheikh Hasina and the Awami League government.
BNP Chairperson’s advisor Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, Standing Committee member Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku, Barrister Shahjahan Omar and others joined the function.
