Desk Report || risingbd.com
Dhaka recorded a fall in air pollution with its air quality index (AQI) hitting 283 at about 11:18 am on Saturday (December 17).
Pakistan's Lahore and Karachi occupied the first and third spots in the list, with AQI scores of 294 and 224, respectively.
According to the date, an AQI between 201 and 300 is said to be "poor", while a reading of 301 to 400 is considered "hazardous", posing serious health risks to residents.
Experts blame brick kilns, vehicle fumes and dust from construction sites for the air pollution in Dhaka.
