Cold wave sweeping over 21 districts

Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over 21 districts- Faridpur, Madaripur, Gopalganj, Rajshahi, Pabna, Naogaon, Sirajgonj, Moulvibazar, Rangamati, Cumilla, Feni, Jashore, Chuadanga, Kushtia, Barishal and Bhola.

Moderate to thick fog may occur over the river basins and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country during midnight till Saturday morning.

Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, said a Met Office.

Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Ridge of sub-continental high extends up to West Bengal and adjoining areas. Seasonal low lies over South Bay, extending its trough to North Bay.

Country's minimum temperature was recorded by 05.6 degree celsius in Tentulia.
