Supreme Court’s incident was unexpected: Harun

Harun Or Rashid, the chief of Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), has said that the incident in the Supreme Court was unexpected.

Huge number of policemen have been deployed in the area to keep the situation under control.

The DB boss came up with the remark while talking to journalists after visiting the security arrangement in the Supreme Court area on Thursday noon.

“Journalists and police will work together like before. We have given such instructions. However, the incident that happened on Wednesday (March 15) was unexpected, undesired. We have taken measures to ensure that such incidents will not recur in the future”, he said.
