Architect Imtiaz killed after being failed getting money

Police have arrested three people in connection with the murder of Architect Imtiaz Mohammad Bhuiyan, 47, of Tejgaon of the capital.
The arrestees were known as Millat Hossain Munna, Anwar Hossain, and Ehsan Megh, a transgender person.
Deputy Commissioner Golam Sabur of Detective Police (DB) of Tejgaon Division under Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) revealed the information on Monday (March 27) afternoon.
He said they were arrested from Dhaka and surrounding districts on Sunday (March 26) night. Several others involved in the murder. Drives to arrest them is underway. An organized criminal gang kidnaped Imtiaz to extort money. As they failed to get money, they killed him.
Mentionable, Imtiaz, son of Mohammad Hossain Bhuiyan of Tejgaon police station area of the capital, used to design various institutions and houses. He went missing after leaving home on March 7. The following day his wife Fahmida Akhter filed a General Diary (GD) with Kalabagan police station.
Later, police recovered the body of an unidentified person from the Chitrakot Kamarkanda bridge area of Munshiganj’s Sirajdikhan upazila. After the legal process, the police handed over the body to Anjuman Mufidul on March 9. But the family did not know that. After 10 days, the family learned that Imtiaz had been murdered when a report on Imtiaz’s disappearance was broadcast on a private television.
