Gazipur City Corporation polls on May 25

The Gazipur City Corporation polls will be held on May 25.  Electronic voting machine (EVM) will be used in the polls.

The decision was taken at a meeting held on Monday at EC office with Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Habibul Awal in the chair.

Election Commission Secretary Jahangir Alam informed this after the meeting.

The last Gazipur City Corporation polls were on June 27, 2018.

Earlier, Election Commission said polls to five city corporations would be held from May 23 to June 29. The elections would be held in three phases.
