Taposh pays homage to Bangabandhu

Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh has paid homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing a wreath at his portrait at Dhanmondi 32,  marking the historic Mujibnagar Day.

He placed the wreath at the portrait of the Father of the Nation in front of the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum on Monday (April 17) morning.

After laying the wreath, the he stood in solemn silence for some time as a mark of profound respect to the memory of Bangabandhu, the architect of independence.

The historic Mujibnagar Day is being observed today to mark the formation of Bangladesh’s first government to lead the War of Liberation in 1971.
