National Eidgah ready for Eid jamaat

All preparations have been taken for holding Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at the National Eidgah.

Around 35,000 devotees, including women, will be able to take part in the prayers together on this ground in 121 rows. The first Eid Jamaat will be held at 8:30 am.

All preparations have already been completed in the National Eidgah field of about 30,000 square meters. Separate prayer places have been made for the VIPs.

Sources said that there will be a gate for VIPs in the Eidgah. Besides, a gate for the public and a separate gate for women will be kept there.

Ten air coolers and a sufficient number of fans will be installed in the Eidgah venue.

After visiting the preparation of Eidgah, Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh said that no fire boxes, lighters are allowed in the National Eidgah.
