Dengue: 3 more patients die in 24 hours

Three people died from dengue in 24 hours till Sunday morning (June 4), raising the fatalities from the mosquito-borne disease to 16 this year.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), a total of 97 new patients were hospitalised with the viral fever.

Of the new patients, 87 were admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka and 10 outside the capital.

A total of 387 dengue patients, including 338 in the capital, are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.
