16 DIGs transferred

In a major reshuffle in the police administration, the government has transferred 16 deputy inspector generals (DIG).
The Public security division of Home Ministry issued a circulation in this regard on Sunday (July 16).
According to the notification, DIG of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Md Abu Kalam Siddique has been transferred to tourist police, Additional DIG of CID AKM Nahidul Islam has been transferred to CID, DMP joint police commissioner Biplab Bijoy Talukdar to police commissioner (DIG) Rajshahi, Barishal Range DIG SM Aktaruzzaman has been sent to Dhaka Police Staff College, Highway police DIG Md Mozammel Haque to Khulna Metropolitan police commissioner and Rajshahi metropolitan police commissioner Md Anisur Rahman has been transferred to Rajshahi Range DIG.
Besides, Rajshahi Range DIG Md Abdul Baten has been transferred to Rangpur Range DIG, DIG of Rangpur Range Mohammad Abdul Alim Mahmud has been sent to Anti-Terrorism Unit, Armed police battalion Md Jamil Hasan to Barishal Range DIG, Special Branch of police Additional DIG Rakhfar Sultana Khanam has been transferred to Sarda police academy, DMP joint police commissioner Md Jakir Hossain Khan to Industrial police, Additional DIG of SB Md Moniruzzaman has been sent to special branch, Additional DIG of police headquarters Mohammad Abdullahil Baki sent to Armed Police Battalion, DIG of Tangail Police Training Center Commandant Md Moynul Islam has been sent to Dhaka Training Driving School and DIG of Dhaka Training Driving School Commandant Md Nazrul Islam has been transferred to Tangail.
