Gayeshwar Chandra Roy taken at DB office

Police picked up BNP standing committee member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy from the capital city's Dholaikhal area after a clash on Saturday.

He has now been taken to the DMP’s DB office for interrogation.

Deputy Police Commissioner Md Faruk Hossain of DMP’s Media and Public Relations Department   confirmed the news.

A chase and counter-chase took place between police and leaders and activists of BNP in the capital’s Dholaikhal area around 11.30am.

Gayeshwar Chandra Roy was injured in the clash and was taken to a hospital.
