DNCC serves show-cause notices on three officials

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has served show-cause notices on three officials for resorting to fraud in importing of Bacillus Thuringiensis Israelensis (BTI), an anti-mosquito pesticide.

Mokbul Hossain, Public Relations Officer of DNCC, confirmed to risingbd.

He said they were given the notice on Monday (August 21) afternoon.

Mokbul Hossain said these three officials of DNCC are: former DNCC Chief Health Officer Brig Gen Md Zobaidur Rahman, Chief Store Officer Ramendra Nath Biswas and Assistant Store and Purchase Officer Rahat Al Faisal. 

The notice asked them to reply within the next 7 days.
