Khaleda Zia to stay a few more days in hospital

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia will have to stay in hospital for a few more days, her personal physicians, said.

She is undergoing treatment in a private hospital in the capital. Her physical condition is stable. The doctors now want to keep her under observation in the hospital for a few more days.

BNP chairperson’s media wing member Shamsuddin Didar said madam’s physical condition is stable now. However, doctors can finalize about her return home from the hospital.

Khaleda Zia has been suffering from various ailments, including liver cirrhosis, arthritis, diabetes, and kidney, lung, heart, and eye problems.

Earlier, on 13 June night, the former prime minister had suddenly fallen ill and was admitted to hospital. She returned home after five days. Later, she was taken to hospital again on August 9.
