Krishi Market fire under control

A massive fire, which broke out at Mohammadpur Krishi Market in the capital Dhaka early Thursday (September 14), was brought under control at 9:25 am after 5.30 hours.
Fire service and civil defense director (operation and maintenance) lieutenant colonel Tazul Islam Chowdhury confirmed the matter around 10:00 am.
Fire service sources said that the fire originated from a grocery store.
Earlier, a massive fire broke out at the Mohammadpur Krishi Market in Dhaka at around 3:40 am on Thursday (14 September). A total of 17 units of the fire service brought the blaze under control.
