Banglabandha land port closed for 6 days

The export-import activities through Banglabandha land port will remain suspended for six days, on the occasion of Durga puja, the biggest religious festival of the Hindu community.

Banglabandha Importers-Exporters Group general secretary Khudrat-e-Khuda Milon confirmed the matter on Friday (October 20).

He said the businessmen of Bangladesh and India decided to shut the import-export activities for 6 days from October 21 to 26 following the puja festival.

Banglabandha immigration check post Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nazrul Islam said there will be no suspension of immigration services, meaning movement of people, wherever applicable.
