Operation of river vessels suspended

The operation of all types of river vessels has been suspended on all inner routes due to cyclonic storm Hamoon.

Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) issued a notice on the matter on Tuesday afternoon.

Confirming the matter, the BIWTA Deputy Director Md Shahadat Hossain said the instruction will remain in force until further notice.
