Former communications minister Abul Hossain dies

Former communications minister also member of the parliament of Madaripur-3 Syed Abul Hossain has passed away after suffering a heart attack.

He breathed his last at a city hospital on Wednesday morning (October 25).

Syed Shakhawat Hossain, his nephew also Dasar upazila Awami League convener confirmed the matter.

From 2009 to 2012, he was the Minister of Communications and State Minister of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives.

Syed Abul Hossain, a businessman and politician, was born in Madaripur in 1951. Hossain was a member of the fifth, seventh, eighth, and ninth parliament.
