What DMP commissioner says about Oct 28 rally

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Habibur Rahman said scrutinizing all-out security measures and thinking of properties and lives of ordinary people, a decision will be taken regarding the rallies announced by several political parties in Dhaka slated to be held on October 28.
He said this while talking to reporters at his office on Wednesday (October 25).
The DMP boss said, “People’s movement get hampered due to the street rallies. In this sense, we are making analysis whether any political party will be given permission for holding rally. We have asked the officials concerned to submit a report examining the real situation. Based on that report, we will decide whether permission for holding rallies will be given or not. We are giving priority on the safety issues of ordinary people.”
